we stayed at a lovely, characterful cottage called Barnaby's Lodge during our visit to the charming town of Broadstairs. the lodge was full of charm and had a lot of character. It was located in a perfect spot in the old part of town, just minutes away from everything. We were able to enjoy the beautiful beaches that were clean and well-maintained. the location was also great for exploring other coastal towns in Kent, like Whitstable. it was a wonderful experience and the sun shining throughout the week made it even better. cons: Nothing 🙌.

Perfect location, close to beautiful coastal towns and beaches. Quaint and characterful cottage with a perfect spot in a quiet area.
Unusable oven with a strong odor and malfunctioning detectors. Lackluster courtyard in need of improvement.

I had the most amazing stay at Barnaby's Lodge in Broadstairs. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful beach and within walking distance to all the local shops and restaurants. The atmosphere in the area was serene and peaceful, making it the ideal place to unwind and relax.
Although there were a few small drawbacks, such as the dated decor in the bathroom and some minor cleanliness issues with the kitchen utensils, the overall experience was still wonderful. The cozy and well-decorated kitchen made me feel right at home, and it had everything I needed to prepare a delicious meal.

Loved the patio garden, perfect for sipping tea and pretending to be fancy. The location was ideal, so I could easily walk to all the restaurants and shops. The towels provided were a nice touch, I didn't have to use my own.
Oh, how I enjoyed trekking down the stairs in my cocktail dress to use the bathroom that was miles away from the bedrooms. So convenient.

The bathroom was amazing! It had a bath and free toiletries, so you could pamper yourself after a long day of trekking. As a trekker, this was heaven for me!
The only thing I didn't really like was that there was only 1 bathroom. But hey, that's just my opinion.
